Assembly

This week we have been rehearsing a special assembly for Mrs Chambers who is leaving our school after 30 years! Read our quickwrites that we wrote in four minutes.

I think our assembly is going to be awesome because I love being the narrator in stories. My favourite part is when Briana and I recite the rhyming part. I think Sophie is brilliant as Mrs Chambers. I really want to be her! It is cool how the song 'All About That Bass' has changed to 'All About Those Books' because I love reading and I like changing songs like that.

I think our assembly is going to be fantastic. I like the part when Hamza reveals the exercycle and Sophie rides it huffing and puffing madly away. Miss Rodger has been a bit grouchy this week, this is because some kids aren't sitting still or concentrating. She wants us to get our voices louder than our normal voices.

Swimming

We have loved our Swimsation lessons this term. Read the fantastic swimming poems we wrote with Mrs Morley.

Splash, bash, glug
Water goes boom up into the air and down like rain
The bubbles sparkle in the water like diamonds floating
The waves we make smash onto the wall of the pool
The water sparkles and the sun burns on the water
By Jasper

Splish, splash, crash, boom
Snorkling with bubbles surrounding me
Sun shining clear as icicles hanging off a mountain
Waves smashing against my face
Waves swirling like a wave pool
By Kaia

Splash, crash, boom
Kids jumping into the cool crystal water
Making swirling whirlpools as kids swim around in circles
Bubbles bubble up to the surface like floating shiny stars

A Busy Lunchtime

Look at what Kaia, Briana and Jovana made during their wet lunchtime. Well done girls, you look really proud.
